Olivier Leflaive a well reputed wine producer from Burgundy ,France, had a single minded determinination to provide that elusive mix of both reasonable quantities and high quality .

Whilst he has some around 12 hectares of his own vineyards, the core of the business is anchored in Oliver Leflaive's resolve to buy top-quality grapes from conscientious and reliable growers (an approx of 90 hectares). Domain Leflaive do produce formidable wines such as Chablis, Montrachet, Meursault and the famous Batard Montrachet all made from Chardonnay grapes. I order to get such a wine quality  the domain wine maker apply what is call the"Cuvee ronde which consist to blend of different parcels of vineyards from the same status of « appellation », but which complement the overall equilibrium and constitution of the wine and its aromas.Today the Domaine makes 20 different reds, the rest in white.
