Montagny 1er Cru is an appelation (AOC) from la Saone et Loire depatement. Located in the south of the Cote Chalonnaise a sub wine region of Burgundy .Le Bonneveaux It is one of about 50 sites classified as Premier Cru under the Montagny AOC . From the great Olivier Leflaive, this pretigious vineyard is planted on southeast facing slopes . Located in the territory of Buxy, the terroir of Bonneveaux has a sunny exposure. The vineyard grows on a brown limestone marly soil which slopes steeply. Bonneveaux offers much of the style and class of the Côte de Beaune, at a very reasonable price.
Tasting note: Delicious racy ripeness, but also a distinct mineral elegance - a hedonistic pleasure.
