Delamote Blanc de Blanc Grand cru le Mesnil N/V
Delamote is the sixth oldest champagne hous , founded in 1760, based in the Grand Cru village le Mesnil-sur Orger. Delamotte produces wonderful, hand-crafted wines. As sister house of Salon perhaps the world's rarest Champagne. Delamote winery benefits from its sibling both in expertise and, in non vintage years, Salon’s grapes which then go into Delamotte. Blanc de Blanc mean this Champagne is made only from the main white variety of the area the Chardonnay grape.
Tasting notes: The wines punching well above their weight in their complexity and richness . A mineral palate with a fresh and flinty, with hints of citrus and a light bready note. The palate is vibrant with refreshing acidity, cool lemon ,minerality and even light floral notes.
