Marlborough can claim to starting 40 years ago the modern New Zealand wine industry. Marlborough produced pinot noir , among other varieties. The Stoneburn vines is owned by Hunter's vineyard , but operated separately. The wine is half hand havested and kept for one to two years in French oak cask . This production method added quality ,flavour and style to this moderate priced Pinot noir .
Tasting notes: Medium bodied . Black sherry , plums, and raspberry flavous with a hints vanilla .A soft palate with black fruit aromas and spice.
