Champigny have been renowned for many centuries. Production come from nines villages, using Cabernet Franc (or Breton) grapes and the wine are light, fruity agreable. Serious, elegant and fine, this Cabernet Franc used in the production of this tiny Lieu-Dit (named vineyard) are grown on the site of an ancient, third century Roman villa! The 'Les Villaises' vineyard has a small outcrop of chalky soil, ideal for producing smooth and silky Cabernet Franc.
Tasting notes: Medium bodied with fruit compote flavours and delicate balsamic notes.
