Bainskloof vineyard is run by the Bergsig family. Situated to the east of Steelenbosch and Paarl through the mountains is the beautiful Breede River valley, from where this lovely wine comes.This well established family wine  estate produced the bainskloof an easy drinking wines . Bergsig Estate was established in 1843 and is now run by the heirs of the founding family. Times may have changed but their values have not, focusing on preservation of the surrounding environment. This is a juicy, easy-drinking wine 

Tasting notes: Soft, gentle Merlot fruit is wonderfully complemented by a lovely herbal nuance and a good supple finish with rich dark fruit and mocha notes.
