Graves de Vayres is an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in the Bordeaux wine region of France. It covers 700 hectares (1,700 acres) across the Vayres and Arveyres villages and is located in the Entre-Deux-Mers area of Bordeaux. The red young wine, due to the dominant Merlot it is fresh and highly fruity
in 2002, while purchasing a neighbouring domaine, the Château La Fleur des Graves, that we created a unique wine storehouse within Goudichaud. This wine storehouse is exclusively used for the wine making of the Château La Fleur des Graves. The grapes, coming from the slopes, are treated with special care to obtain the best of our terroir. Besides the low yields (25Hectoliter per hectare), the vines are disbudded, thinned out of their leaves and manually trained.

Drinking well now , but will continue to evolve further with some additional bottle age
Tasting notes: Ruby in colour. Medium bodied Lovely aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries which are woven together with exotic spices, spring florals and tobacco. Displays excellent balance and structure, whith gorgeous soft, velvety texture which carries on all the way through the lingering finish.
