Appellation Brouilly (AOC) ,Beaujolais ,France
Brouilly is an appellation in central-north Beaujolais wine region of France. Lie on the lower slopes of Mont Brouilly this wine area produced a relatively robust and full-bodied style of red wine made from Gamay grape variety .Brouilly wines appellation includes the communes of Cercié, Charentay, Odenas, Quincié-en-Beaujolais, Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne and Saint-Lager. The Beaujolais wines region are seperates in three levels :
The first level is labelled Beaujolais,
The second is labelled Beaujolais Villages (where the grapes are grown in specified communes)
The third level is the ten 'crus' where the finest wines are made (Brouilly, Chénas, Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, Saint-Amour, Juliénas, Côte de Brouilly and Régnié).
