Pacherenc du Vic Bihl, kown as the "vin moelleux" This is the other noble wine of the region. Arrufiac from white grapes, Courbu Petit, Petit and Gros Manseng, clusters are collected manually overmatured by successive tries from October to December ,the viticultural year ending in the famous harvest of Eve taking place in Vielha, December 31 at midnight! Pacherenc be attracted mainly by its freshness and smoothness and is delicious foie gras appetizers or desserts
Tasting notes: sweet wine offers rich, concentrated flavours, with notes of marmalade and caramel coated tropical fruits, lifted by a fine citric acidity.A sweet wine balanced by crisp natural acidity - a delicious alternative to Sauternes!
