ODDBINS AND WAR CHILD UNITE FOR SPECIAL WINE
The charity WAR CHILD,has united with ODDBINS,to manufactute a limited edition CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE,to raise money for children who are victims of war.
The wine,to be called CNDP,has been created by winemaker Alain Gardier.Oddbins describe it as 'fresh energetic and intense.' £1 from every bottle sold by Oddbins will go to the war child charity.As 1.4 billion live on less than £1 per day,it is very profitable. War Child is a charity which provides aid to children on the streets,in prisons,young rape victims,and former child soldiers.
Oddbins director Ayo Akintola said that 'Although £1 may not sound much,just 71 pence out the pound cansend a child to school for a year.It will make a huge difference to children's lives.' Chateauneuf-Du-Pape retails at £19 from Oddbins stores.
