Gewurztraminer grappes is an aromatic variety of the Traminer grape that appeared in the 1800s.Located north of Strasbourg, Cave de Cléebourg’s vineyards cover almost 200 hectares of the Nothernin Vosges Mountains in the Alsace region of France. Cleebourgh the 'Nordic' village: in the 17th and 18th centuries, Cleebourgh and its neighbours were directly attached through mariage to the Swedish crown. The vineyard located north of Strasbourg (France) covering alomst 200 hectares . Since 1946 the Cave de Cleebourg's a wine co-operative linking together surrounding villages of Cléebourg, Oberhoffen, Rott, Steinseltz ,Riedseltz. and Wissembourgh in the northernmost part of the Alsatian wine region.
Tasting notes: Exuberant nose of lychees and exotic fruits. With a fairly supple attack and rather round palate.
