PSI Petert Sisseck Dominio de pingus Ribera Del Duero 2017
Dominio de Pingus is a Spanish winery was established in 1995 by Danish oenologist Peter Sisseck in the La Horra area of the Ribera del Duero (DO) region. The wine produced, Pingus, is considered a "cult wine", sold at extremely high prices but happily for Peter Sisseck produce some second wine affordable for all, such as Psi Domino de pingus made from Tempranillo grape. Excellent value.
The 2016 vintage was a fine vintage of PSI, with a yield 300,000 bottles only produce ,this wine still exclusive. A flacon of elegance and freshness bottled summer 2018, that after 18 months in a French oak barrels. The small winery Dominio de Pingus grown a micro-plots and vines are on average over 30 years hold.
Parker note 92/93
Tasting note: Ruby red wine. Attractive floral tinged nose with ripe red berries and subtle oak. Mid-bodied with firm tannins, nice, fresh fruit and high acidity.
