Riesling Lonely Vineyard, Eden valley ,Australia 2016
The Lonely Riesling is from the Eden Valley Region situated between Eden Valley and Craneford. This vineyards with sandy/loam soils at an altitude of 460m.The grapes are harvested by hand, and whole bunch pressed into chilled stainless tanks for settling. Pressings are not included The wine is racked after one week and fermented cool to retain freshness and aromatic integrity. The wine is clarified and racked immediately post fermentation, then held cold for four months to achieve stability prior to bottling.Experienced winemaker Michael Schreurs seeks to reflect the land on which the grapes were grown with this graceful Eden Valley Riesling.
Tasting notes: Concentrated floral flavous with mineral characters . Zesty intensity and a powerful acid backbone palate.
